any tourist company that wishes to join must be a registered tourist service company in the Guatemalan Tourism Institute –INGUAT-.
is the first stage of the process, where INGUAT summons tourism entrepreneurs at a general level to inform them of the Quality Management System to be implemented.
at this stage, the tourism service with the technical support of INGUAT adopts good practices, implement improvements in its internal procedures and makes methodological changes and modifications in infrastructure. Which will allow them to provide a quality service to their customers to correct the gaps that exist between what is currently established in it and the tourism quality standards to evaluate.
at this stage, the procedures and implementation of good practices are evaluated, through specific evaluation tools that measure the opportunities and results in a measurable way, established in the Quality Management System.
once the audit report has been delivered to INGUAT, the results obtained will be validated.
Those companies that approve the audit will be granted a certificate valid for two years, to make use of the Q Seal, which has a national recognition.
